Our Mission
Why we exist
To help every individual and family live a God-centred life — cultivating devotion, moral strength and harmony at home — and to serve society selflessly, without distinction of background or belief.
About Us
Great Hindu Sabha UK belongs to the Hariprabodham Parivar — the spiritual family founded by HDH Hariprasad Swamiji Maharaj through the Yogi Divine Society, and guided today by HDH Prabodhjivan Swamiji Maharaj.
Our Story
Our roots trace to the blessings of Yogiji Maharaj, who encouraged the earliest Hindu families settling in Britain to keep satsang alive far from their homeland. Those small gatherings in front rooms and hired halls grew, in time, into an organised sabha with its own mandir.
Under the guidance of HDH Hariprasad Swamiji Maharaj — founder of the Yogi Divine Society at Haridham, Sokhda — the fellowship was shaped around a single, transformative idea: atmiyata, the divine kinship of souls. Devotees were taught not merely to worship together but to belong to one another.
Today, under Guruhari HDH Prabodhjivan Swamiji Maharaj, we serve devotees at our London and Leicester centres through worship, education, youth development and humanitarian seva — carrying the same warmth that defined those first gatherings.

Our Mission
To help every individual and family live a God-centred life — cultivating devotion, moral strength and harmony at home — and to serve society selflessly, without distinction of background or belief.
Our Vision
A generation of Hindus in Britain who are confident in their faith and culture, generous in their service, and united by atmiyata — so that the mandir extends into every home.
